*Ricky Morris* 29/10/2005-18 Years Later "Thinking Of You And Missing You" Gone But Never Forgotten.

It all started back in May-05 when I decided to do a website on the memory of my brother 'Ricky' and that's when it all began for myself a journey I never imagined. From that date forward to this I have received a lot of information and spoken to all sorts of people from high up to general people whom either knew nothing or some that knew it all.

Today I still speak to a few who have supported me through this journey, without them I'm not sure where I would be today with all of this. Some say "go get them Cheryle" some just show there sympathy for all that has happened and wish me well with it all.

Its been a hard road after 18yrs, I bring all this memory up for some people and for myself I learn the truth about my brothers death, hard yes, heartbreaking yes, pissed off yes, lots of looking back at the early days when Ricky was inside I use to think "what could I have done to make it all different"?

And there has been lots of "If only I did this or done that" but as I have learnt now I cannot blame myself for the time I couldn't be there for him. Lots of issue's raised their ugly heads but I have had to deal with them one by one during this time. I after all this time can see a bit clearer and now all I can say is I have to move forward and fight for what Ricky would have wanted and get out of my sad-anger stage.

Grieving is one of the hardest things I've have had to go through and in this case really hard as a lot of things didn't add up, corruption within the system, so many lies and yet still looking for answers to all of this shit. I guess I have received the answers but they weren't the ones I was looking for.

When I started all this I went full forward and not to mention at high speed. I contacted so many people and received so much information it was a great help, but some wouldn't tell as they are still in the system today, although a couple gave me some info that was enlightening. A few that were on the inside at the time contacted me and either sent their wishes whilst others just bragged about there time there and it followed with the typical macho stuff, some I contacted were rude and didn't want any part of it (this showed me who the real dogs were).

I came to accept that it was a hard thing to drag up after so long and to some it was an horrific time and their avoidance in this matter was okay to be left until - if they ever felt comfortable to get back to me with anything, I wont hold my breath.

3 months into this I went bang and hit a wall I was so full of anger and hatred towards the system it wasn't a nice feeling. I was so angry with Robert Wright for starting the protest, I was so sad and in pain as I learnt what my brother had been going through and had been through whilst on the inside... Dirty mongrel screws I hope they suffer today for what they had done back then. I say this to the negative ones who were actually in the unit on the day but then again I say it to any screw who mistreated any prisoners back in the Pentridge, Jika-Jika days "any prison actually".

As sad as it is there were some that had committed suicide or became drunks or just left the system after the Fires back in "87". Those who were there and played their part the best they could no longer stand that dreaded day, tormenting their head. Along another line I have learnt that not all are the same, there a few and far between whom really did the job.

On a positive note, some were around but they had to keep their mouth shut in order to keep their jobs, a few have said to me "it should not have happened Ricky shouldn't have been in such a unit" but as usual there is always one story after another, lies-truth-fear-regret-and lots of sorry's.

Somehow I will get the summary of the 'coroners inquest' files added to my site for all to read if you haven't read it yet. I need to do it in a PDF file this I will do, just not sure when.

I have done a few pages of a journal from prisoners that they did back in '88'. Oh, and there is some truth in that. Once completed, I have 7 pages to type out and shall add it to my site as well.

It's been a difficult past 6 months for me, as a person who suffers with depression I could only imagine what I have endured with all of this. Thank you to all who have supported me and whom are still here with me today to help me get to the end of my journey. Credits are in my thank you page.

Where am I going with it all? Well after having a meeting with a fellow friend whom is going to help me and contacts he has, *we have a plan* its going to take a bit and a few walls to break through. The system can forget that day as much as they want but hey "I WONT!"

The day it will all come alive will be the 29-10-07, this will be the 20yr anniversary.

The exercise yards in all units in B Block are now closed in with extra cladding to all external surfaces. No direct sunlight ever comes into the exercise yards at any time of the day. Block walling surround more than three-quarters of the yard. A portion of one wall is covered in with compressed steel mesh with small holes, plus another mesh fence being the original fence. No fresh air comes into these yards because of the mesh and the fact that there is no cross ventilation for air to pass through the yard. The roofing of all unit exercise yards in B Block have been covered in stopping any sunlight. In the summer months, heat generated from the tin roofing over the exercise yards makes the yard so hot, normal use is avoided.

SIR DAVID LONGLAND CORRECTIONAL CENTRE QLD - CELLS IN B BLOCK The cells in B Block are like no other in any Queensland prison. After Mr. Cooper was severally embarrassed by the Abbott and Co escape on 4th November 1997, he visited B Block and the surrounding grounds. It was that visit, by Cooper, that set in motion a plan (up the ante) to make sure security in B Block would never embarrass him again. It was like closing the gate after the horse has bolted.

Another terror attack in Australia brings Tweeds Heads (NSW) to a standstill - police brake speed limit to get footy player to footy match - woman ends up dead because of police failure, according to coroner - corrupt corruption commissioner might end up in prison - 14 year old girl gets locked up by police unlawfully - ex-copper gets massive $650,000 pay-out.

Another terrorism attack occurred in Australia on Sept 6, with NSW police bringing a large part of Tweed Heads to a standstill on September 5, according to ABC News Online.

Dozens of businesses were evacuated, roads were closed for 7 hours, more than 100 workers were forced to leave their offices and traffic was diverted for most of the day.

The suspect device turned out to be harmless.

'Obviously it is a different society at the moment and we have to take every threat seriously and investigate it fully,' said a police spokesperson.

'Even in Tweed Heads,' he could have added.

The Sydney Morning Herald of September 6 reports the extraordinary story of a police officer who deliberately broke the speed limit and used emergency lights and sirens so that he could drive a Kangaroos footballer, Saverio Rocca, to Telstra Dome for a match.

The police officer drove Mr Rocca to the match, leaving his wife, Rose, at hospital and about to give birth to the couple's second child.

Mr Rocca replied to allegations of police driving, using headlights or speeding by saying that 'I didn't think it was such a big deal.'

A Northern Territory coroner has blamed police for the death of woman, according to the September 5 Advertiser.

The coroner found that police had failed to enforce a restraining order against the woman's former partner.

As a result, the 21 year old was bashed to death by her boyfriend, despite taking out a non-contact domestic violence order against him.

Coroner Greg Cavanagh said police should have arrested Ms Millar's partner when he beat her up the day before, in breach of the restraint order.

The coroner said that 'The evidence in this case reveals that the actions of police were simply not good enough.'

Moira Rayner is a disgraced former corruption commissioner. She disgraced herself when she tipped off a friend about an investigation into his illegal activities. Now she is being investigated as to whether the tip-off was criminal, according to The Australian of September 6.

Ms Rayner, who was the acting commissioner of the Corruption and Crime Commission in Western Australia, resigned on August 16 after admitting the tip-off.

The tip off to her friend, Mr Marquet (formerly one of WA's top public servants) came when he was facing charges on 55 counts of corruption, drug possession and the theft of $227,000.

Police chiefs in Belfast are getting pissed of at Australia's attempts to poach Irish police officers, as Australians no longer want to join the boys and girls in blue.

The 3 September Belfast Telegraph reports that 200 Irish police have expressed an interest in signing up for jobs in Western Australia.

Police Commissioner Noel Conroy of the Republic of Ireland is reported to be annoyed about the possibility of losing experienced police.

A former copper is to receive a whopping $650,000 unfair dismissal payout, according to The Australian of September 8.

Mr Jarratt, 57, was sacked without warning on 'performance grounds.'

A 14 year old girl was unlawfully held in a police watchhouse in August. Her name and the location of the Queensland police station has been withheld, according to a AAP report of September 8.

The girl was taken from her home at 9.30pm in what has said to be a mistake by the police.

The Queensland Police Service Ethical Standards Command put the overnight detention of the 14 year old down to human error.

ONE YEAR ON - JUSTICE FOR TJ - RE-OPEN THE INQUEST

AUSTRALIA: NSW: The Indigenous Social Justice Association Inc has organised a Rally and March on Wednesday 17th August 2005 on behalf of Gail Hickey, her Family and supporters.

We will rally at the Block, Redfern, at 11:30 am and then march to the Glebe State Coroners Court before returning to the Block for a community BBQ.

On the 17th August 2004 the NSW State Coroner, John Abernethy, handed down his Finding arising from the T.J. Hickey's Death in Custody Inquest.

The Finding was fatally flawed as it was based on the acceptance of a corrupt NSW Police Brief of investigation.

The Inquest itself was also flawed as legitimate evidence and witnesses were blocked by the legal team purportedly representing the Hickey Family and by the Counsel assisting the Coroner. The Coroner had also set strict parameters for what could be discussed in open Court.

This and related concerns have been subject to a complaint to the NSW Judicial Commission for their consideration. We have submitted that they should find fault with the original Inquest process and to recommend that a new Inquest be held or that the original Inquest be re-opened.

We have also asked the new NSW Premier Morris Iemma and his new Aboriginal Affairs Minister, Milton Orkopoulos, to meet with ISJA and the Hickey Family to discuss our concerns with the original Inquest. With the moving on of Bob Carr we expect that any intransigence such as that shown by him will no longer be present.

The NSW State Coroner must be advised that the Inquest is to be reopened or a new inquest be held in the interests of justice in order to allow True Justice to finally occur.

We strongly believe that (now Senior) Constable Michael Hollingsworth had far greater involvement in the tragic death of TJ and he must now take the stand and give his evidence despite the comments of the State Coroner that he cannot be trusted to tell the true facts of his part in the tragedy of that day.

On Sunday 13th February, a Community gathering will be held to enable all people to remember the death of one of our young Community members, 'TJ' Hickey.

The gathering will be at the site of the fence where he was impaled arising from a police pursuit.

The gathering will start at 10.30am at the fence site behind the Taurunga building in Phillip Street, Waterloo Letters of support will be read and a two minute silence will also occur.

During the gathering a Petition will be available to be signed to demand a new Coronial Inquest. The call is based on Community demands following the abject failure of the police/white legal system to act in a fair and just manner.

This Petition is also demanding:

*a new Coronial Inquest following the evidence given by the two Police Community Liason officers during the New South Wales Legislative Assembly Inquiry, and

*The Coroner's decision to allow (then) Constable Michael Hollingsworth to not have to give evidence on a legally false double-jeopardy argument.

Both of the above points, we believe, have solid legal arguments to support them in a Court of Law. If we get a proper and unbiased hearing, of course.

The Petitions will be given to the NSW Attorney-General, Bob Debus, who has agreed to accept the handover, on the 15 February, being the FIRST ANNIVERSARY, of an event that will never be forgotten by the entire Community, and one that has brought us together.

Following the gathering there will be a further minutes silence held at one of Australia's oldest police station, Redfern, to remember all those, black and white, that have died arising from police operations.

Also those who have died in the penal systems of this country. Adult and juvenile, male and female. All those Deaths-in-Custody due to negligence or an absolute failure of Duty of Care by the NSW, so-called, Justice and Legal Systems.

Since 1980, there has been over 400 Indigenous Deaths. There are in excess of 400 Families still grieving, still in 'Sorry Business.' Those 400+ Families still ask the unanswered questions.

4 named over APS death - Court hears of corruption

Australian Protective Service whistleblower Gary Lee-Rogers may have died at the hands of four people named in court yesterday by a former NSW police detective who backed his claims of corruption in the service.

In evidence yesterday at a coronial inquest into Mr Lee-Rogers' death at Queanbeyan in 2002, retired detective senior constable Deborah Lee Locke identified four individuals, whose names cannot be published and were not read aloud under court order by coroner Jacqueline Milledge.

Ms Locke also revealed evidence, compiled from internal APS documents, which substantiated Mr Lee-Rogers' whistleblower claims of systemic mismanagement within the APS including the misuse of company credit cards by employees.  

She accused the APS of corruption and collusion, tendering to the court the documents, including one from March 2000, which revealed that more than 60 firearms, 30 handcuffs and bomb-suit equipment had mysteriously vanished from the organisation. The audit report showed that 47 revolvers were gone, as well as two rifles, six shotguns, 18 batons, computers and mobile phones.

The missing weapons, as well as claims of mismanagement and workplace harassment, were among allegations Mr Lee- Rogers, a senior officer, was planning to use to expose what he called the "web of lies, corruption and collusion" that existed within his workplace.

Ms Locke said she believed Mr Lee- Rogers had died after months of bullying to shut him up by members of an "old boys club" that existed within the APS and possibly the Australian Federal Police. She did not believe his death was murder but rather manslaughter by several individuals who wanted to "send him a message".

Ms Locke, a 12-year NSW Police Force veteran who worked as a detective with the Kings Cross undercover drug squad and the Fraud section, said that from the medical evidence available she believed he was either punched in the face or smothered with a pillow.

Days before his death, Mr Lee-Rogers made a triple-0 call, claiming he had been bashed by a federal police officer.

His landlady, one of the last people to see him alive, said he appeared to have been roughed up and may have had bruising on his face.

The claim that a member of the AFP had bashed Mr Lee-Rogers has not been substantiated.

A post mortem examination did not reveal a cause of death, although initial investigations by police from Queanbeyan determined that it may have been from natural causes.

There was also speculation that because he had been depressed, his death may have been the result of suicide.

Mr Lee-Rogers' body was found slumped on the bed of his Queanbeyan flat on October 1, 2002, only weeks before he was due to face court on fraud charges which were levelled against him after his initial complaints to management about problems within the APS, the nation's guard service.

"Gary Lee-Rogers was a genuine whistleblower and he was excited about going to court to reveal what he knew," Ms Locke said. "He may have been depressed, but I don't believe he was suicidal."

In the weeks prior to his death, he had sent e-mails and made desperate telephone calls to fellow members of Whistleblowers Australia, claiming that he had been threatened. 

In one message he said that a gun had been shoved in his mouth and that former colleagues were driving past his house pointing fingers at him like pistols and motioning as with knives across their throats in a bid to rattle him.

"I am in fear of my life and I know I will die 'accidentally' or 'by my own hand' in the next few months," he wrote in one of his e-mails. "I am in a world of fear and pain."

I feel so sorry for William and Harry to have to question, through the back door, that their father and the authorities could have killed their mother and lied to them about it.

But was it for the sake of a Title? Frustration? Rage? Or Royal Pride? Nevertheless this process will take a long time to be integrated by William and Harry.

My reason to suggest that Charles is guilty? Is that it has taken such a long time to get the Royal Coroner on the job. No matter what the excuse this was an extraordinary death. Then when Scotland was about to go ahead with a Coronial Inquest suddenly the UK jumped up to get the job. This shows how manipulative The Monarchy and The Westminster System can be. Flawed?

In my mind the out-come is clear if this is the way we are expected to believe it will be investigated. After all how could a top UK cop and a Royal Coroner get it wrong? So very convincing?

That's how and why the Westminster system is flawed because it's full of clowns who investigate themselves. When will Government, Monarchs and police stop investigating themselves? When the government goes straight!

Then we have the letter from Princess Diana her self expressing her fears with accurate details of how she was going to be taken out.

The public surely has no confidence in the top dog at Scotland Yard not to do the right thing by the Royals and as for the Royal Coroner forget it he will take his recommendations from Oink Oink!

The fact is police don't solve crime they never have done.

When you read a story about how a cop solved a crime 9 times out of ten the cop fell over it because someone give the offender up. Eight times out of ten police found a prime witness. High profile cases have to get solved for public confidence so 7 times out of 10 they are manipulated events that take a long time to procure under the guise of Noble Cause Corruption.

There needs to be an independent inquiry into the forces behind the scenes that acted for and on behalf of England? The Westminster System?, The Monarchy? Right down to Charles himself because surely they did not act on behalf of the people in their quest for purity.

With respect for Lady Diana? Herself? Diana, who was perceived as mostly kind and graceful by the World and certainly not described as mentally ill, depressed about her new love etc as media reports have suggested. And this is the other reason why Charles is Guilty as Sin? Question the validity of the elements of propaganda purported by those who would otherwise have you believe that it was an accident.

Monarchs, consorts, and, rarely, very distinguished statesmen?

Don't stress out because the Uk's top cop is on the job to investigate? And having no competing interests?

The mood at Clarence House, Prince Charles's official residence in London, was described as one of "bewilderment and disbelief" following Mr Burgess's announcement on Tuesday.

The royal family received no warning about the new investigation, learning of the decision through news reports.

Prince Charles is now braced for another 18 months of damaging leaks from the police inquiry and further conspiracy theories about Diana's August 1997 death in a Paris car crash.

There is also no question now of he and Camilla Parker Bowles declaring their intention to marry until after the conclusion of the inquest, which could take 18 months.

A friend of Prince Charles said: "This is so hurtful for the prince and the boys. It is sad for everyone concerned. Diana died in tragic circumstances, which have been endlessly investigated in France.

"The princes so wanted to be able to put this to rest. Now it will be impossible. This new inquiry will legitimise even more lurid speculation because the rumours are now to be the subject of a police inquiry.

"We have a terrible sense of 'here we go again'."

I INTERPOLATE HERE:

How did it hurt Diana? How did it hurt William and Harry? How did it hurt the World losing Diana? And what damage will be done to the Westminster System if they go out of their way to cover it up? What damage will be done if they don't cover it up?

Such fears were immediately realised when London tabloid the Daily Mirror named Prince Charles as the person Diana suspected of plotting to kill her, so he could wed Ms Parker Bowles.

Clarence House refrained from any public comment about the allegation which, privately, courtiers regarded as "ridiculous". A spokesman said: "We are not commenting on this, I am afraid, but of course will co-operate with any new inquiry."

The Mirror reported that Diana claimed in a handwritten letter to former royal butler Paul Burrell that: "This particular phase in my life is the most dangerous -- my husband is planning 'an accident' in my car, brake failure and serious head injury in order to make the path clear for him to marry."

The letter was written 10 months before she died. The marriage had ended two months earlier. The letter was included in Mr Burrell's book A Royal Duty but the name of the individual identified by the princess was blanked out by the publishers.

While the Mirror claimed for the first time yesterday that Diana had written "my husband", the words were once again blanked out by the newspaper in the reproduced letter.

The omission of the phrase prompted the charge from the royal family that the newspaper did not in fact have a copy of the letter in which the two words were spelt out.

Mr Burrell maintained that the letter indicated the "evidence of the state of the princess's mind in the final months of her life".

But even the Mirror admitted in an editorial that the claim against the Prince of Wales would be seen as "utterly preposterous to many people".

There was also disbelief yesterday at Althorp, the ancestral seat of Diana's family. The Spencer family declined to comment but a friend said: "There have been mountains of rumours and speculation, which we would dearly like cleared-up.

"We have always sought to avoid becoming involved in any speculation and are not convinced that a new police inquiry will do that."

Mr Burgess is also conducting an inquest into Dodi's death. Dodi's father, Mohammed Fayed, was present at the hearing.

Outside, he accused the Duke of Edinburgh of being "a racist to the core" but said he hoped that the inquest would unravel the truth.

"It is absolutely black and white; it is a horrendous murder," Mr Fayed said, for the umpteenth time, but still with feeling.

THE DOG: But even the Mirror admitted in an editorial that the claim against the Prince of Wales would be seen as "utterly preposterous to many people" BUT they still printed what 80 per cent of the world believes.

It is my understanding the myth of Pythagoras amongst other things was that he was chained by both hands. Hand in hand in a line together with others linked together facing the front. The image he had seen all his life he believed in.

Suddenly he broke from the chains and turned around to look behind him and what he saw was the truth and what he'd been looking at all his life was a reflection of what he had thought was the truth.

Go on! Break free from the chains and open yourself up there is no other way.
