The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, is planning to use his Christmas sermon to criticise the detention without trial of terrorism suspects, [scapegoats and patsies for the Coalition of the Killing's resource war's in the Middle East.]He will say the imprisonment of Muslim men in Britain and at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba sends the wrong message at a time when the West is trying to persuade Middle Eastern states to become tolerant democracies. [Not quite correct. Try, when the west is attacking democracies with its pre-emptive strikes on sovereign nation states with its, illegal and degrading resource wars, occupations, installing puppet governments, and genocides in Afghanistan and Iraq.]
Dr Williams has, [allegedly], made the improvement of dialogue between Christianity and Islam a priority during his first year as leader of the worldwide Anglican church and has been one of the most vehement critics of the war in Iraq.
[But he doesn't speak the whole truth, why is that?]
Dr Williams will use his Christmas day sermon directly to criticise the detention without trial of Muslims suspected of terrorist offences, [Muslims used as scapegoats and patsies for the Coalition of the Killing's resource war's in the Middle East], 14 of them at Belmarsh jail in London.
He told the Sunday Times that it jeopardised the efforts of moderate Muslims to foster democratic principles and religious tolerance in countries such as Iraq.
