Stop all the terror! Troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan

On July 7, some of the horrific consequences of the "war on terror" hit working-class Londoners. In a series of bomb blasts on the London tube and buses, more than 50 people were killed, and more than 700 injured, many losing limbs or suffering other debilitating injuries.

This was the third major [false flag]terrorist attack targeting citizens whose governments compose the "coalition of the willing" [Coalition of the Killing] since the invasion of Iraq: following the 2002 [false flag-call to arms] Bali bombing; and the 2004 [false flag] bombing in Spain. As in those cases, the incessant media coverage of the suffering inflicted upon innocents -- those who have never bombed or shot or starved a nation -- has brought home to First World residents just how awful political violence against civilians is.

And at the same time, there are the attempts to use this to further the war on the Third World. We have already been treated to pronouncements by British PM Tony Blair, US President George Bush and Australian PM John Howard, that these terrorists are targeting "civilisation", "our values" and that great standby, "our way of life".

But this approach is deliberately misleading. Robert Fisk said it best in the Independent on July 8: "It's no use Blair telling us, 'They will never succeed in destroying what we hold dear'. They are not trying to destroy 'what we hold dear'. They are trying to get public opinion to force Blair to withdraw from Iraq, out of his alliance with the United States, out of his adherence to Bush's policies in the Middle East."

[No! This is State Sanctioned Terror, false flag operations by government and military security agents using taxpayers money. The Coalition of the 'Killing' who want to produce enough fear in the community to get support for their illegal and degrading 'resource wars' in the Middle East and to introduce draconian laws at home to control the masses.]

A similar line is being pushed by Australian politicians, from Howard to ALP leader Kim Beazley, who are all scrambling to get their sad-looking mugs on television.

Amid all the rhetoric about the terrorists wanting to "make us more afraid" is an attempt to portray the attacks as some kind of clash of cultures. As if the culture of violence is not promoted by Bush, Blair and Howard. As if their wars on Iraq and Afghanistan do not kill working people, or maim and terrorise their children.

The terrorists are certainly brutal and murderous, and we at Green Left Weekly condemn their acts, as people have worldwide. But such "evil" does not come from nowhere. It certainly does not come from Islam, or from being Middle Eastern, and it does not come from poverty either, despite Blair's claims.

It comes from the systematic and incredibly brutal violence that is currently being inflicted on the people of Iraq, of Afghanistan, of Palestine and elsewhere.

This violence is not separate from the economic terrorism of the neoliberal policies that are rammed down the throats of poor governments, pushing unemployment up and destroying social services, while trade rules remain stacked against the Third World. The iron grip that the imperialists use to support their mega-corporations' profits is maintained by the threat of real, military terror. It is enforced by the constant threat that those who do not play ball will end up like Saddam Hussein; and their people will end up like the Iraqis.

We do not get 24-hour newsfeeds from Iraq. The 100,000 people that the British-US-Australian invasion wiped from the face of the earth will not get their mugshots in any First World newspaper. There will be no star-studded fundraiser to help their families deal with the grief and loss. The Iraqi victims of the "war on terror" have become a statistic; the scale of individuals' loss too terrible to grasp.

The Afghan victims of Bush's war are even less visible to us. "Liberated" Afghanistan is run by warlords, has an economy dominated by opium production, and is policed by US troops that have been found, repeatedly, to use torture and brutality. It is not a good place to be female, or vulnerable. Becoming somewhat of an embarrassment to the US, Afghanistan has quietly vanished from our television screens and newspapers.

In the aftermath of the attacks in London, we can expect a new "security offensive". Already, police in the US have been patrolling trains with machine guns (which are so much more useful against timer bombs than regular hand-guns). In Australia, there have been calls for tighter security on trains.

But there is no military solution to fighting al Qaeda-style terrorism, which relies on a relatively small group of people willing to risk everything to cause maximum damage. More terror laws, ID cards, armed police, and even cops on trains will do nothing more than enable the state to harass Arabs and Muslims further (persecuting young Arab-Australians seems to be the main raison d'etre of the NSW transit cops, at least).

There is only a political solution to ending the violence, and that is to actually end the violence. End the occupation of Iraq. End the occupation of Afghanistan. Stop support for Israel's Apartheid-style regime that is slaughtering Palestinians. How can Bush and Blair condemn terrorism when they use terror to kill democracy? When they use terror to destroy left-wing movements that might mobilise effective dissent, and thus reduce support for the right-wing fanatics? When they occupy a country and drive its youth into a guerrilla war?

Of course, most Londoners know this. That is why they have protested in their hundreds of thousands against the war on Iraq. That is why Blair may go down in history as the most widely loathed British prime minister (and in a country that produced Margaret Thatcher, that's quite a feat).

The London bombers did not target war criminals. Quite the opposite -- Edgeware Road is, in fact, in one of the most highly Arab-populated areas of London. Aldgate Station borders on Bethnal Green & Bow, whose constituents just months ago threw out the pro-war Labour Party to elect the anti-war Respect candidate George Galloway. It is a couple of blocks from London's largest mosque.

Those who were killed in London have become the latest victims of the "war on terror". There has been enough killing: it is time we renewed our efforts to stop it, by fighting our government's war agenda, and by supporting those offering legitimate, constructive resistance in the Third World. This includes the Iraqi resistance -- whose soldiers are fighting to free their country -- who must not be tarred with the same brush as the right-wing murderous, and ultimately counterproductive, terrorists. We must focus on where the violence is really coming from.

There has never been a better time to stop a war.

Britain 'sliding into police state'

The home secretary, Charles Clarke, is transforming Britain into a police state, one of the country's former leading anti-terrorist police chiefs [false flag police chiefs] said yesterday.

The Truth About Bali Bombings Part 1 REMIX Part One + Two:

Que Bono. Who Benefited? The Bali Bombings were a direct US-Israeli response to the growing Peace marches and Anti War Movement in Australia that was ballooning at an alarming rate after 9-11 and after Bush announced he was waging illegal invasions. It also very quickly secured Indonesia's and Australia's subservience to the US and cemented involvement in the US led War on Terror, and subsequent illegal invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan.

The London Bus Bombing, Another 'False Flag' Covert Operation?

Just like the Madrid, Spain bombing back on 3-11-2004, when over 200 people were murdered, right before the people of Spain were to decide on their next leader,(one who would take them further into the Iraq invasion, or one who would completely withdraw them), the "terror attack" was suppose to bring the war home to the Spanish people and make them support the war on terror in Iraq,( in classic "false-flag" fashion), but instead, the people spoke and elected a leader who promised to withdraw from Iraq,( he kept his word, all Spanish troops are out of Iraq now).

Flash- forward to 6-14-05, , according to the British newspaper , Britain will start reducing the number of troops "by battalion chunks", by the end of this year. This simply is unacceptable to the Israeli and U.S. empire building neo-cons. They MUST have total control over all other coalition member leaders. If my theory is correct, three things will happen next.

1) Britain will announce that it is resolved to "stay the course" in Iraq, and continue leading the way, fighting the global war on terror.

2) British Parliament will quickly pass a bill , similar to America's Patriot Act, giving the government major powers to fight terror, including mandatory I.D. cards, and more street cameras, and police roadblocks, and military personal on the streets,(martial law). and

3) expect a similar terror attack in Italy in the near future, to get them in line. Remember: Problem, Reaction, Solution, that's the false-flag formula.

False Flags Unfurled

Strange how every "terrorist" event in the past ten or fifteen years benefited the various imperial governments of Britain, Israel, Australia and the USA. These false flag terror operations help cement power, by spreading terror throughout the victim nation. By spreading the effects of terror--pictures of damage and film interviews of mass hysteria and confusion--the mainstream media of the traumatized country served as an unquestioning, ultra-effective propaganda vehicle. The national media acts as a brilliant, second phase of the false flag operation, by further spreading the terror while muddying the waters to any conflicting evidence or subsequent investigation.

Let me list a few suspicious events that helped cement power in the four countries. There are dozens, and I;m certain you can think of many more, but I've only listed six. Each event intended to (A) scapegoat a group or individual, while (B) removing power from the unsuspecting people, while (C ) giving more power to the government, while (D) directing hostility toward the intended group, or individual, while (E) muddying the facts of the story for future reference. If you control the events and control the story than you control the people, for your own purposes.

1. The Oklahoma City Bombing. Meant to look like an act of terrorism but closer inspection reveals numerous suspicious indicators of a false flag operation. Multiple bombs reported that day. Multiple persons involved. Experts like USAF General Partin (Google), who saw the site, dismissed the notion that a home-made fertilizer bomb could have demolished a concrete reinforced building.

Fortunately, for those who created the false flag terror operation, the US media kept a lid on doubters after the critical first day---and has ever since---labeling them 'Conspiracy theorists.'

OKC screamed false flag, then and now. The intended target? The US militia groups, millions of law-abiding patriots and Constitutionalists that had grown significantly after the Waco Massacre by the Clinton/ Reno crime cult. Predictably, a pre-programmed patsy, Timothy McVeigh, was tied to a militia group and blamed for the entire massacre.

2. The 911 Attack. The most successful false flag attack in America, but assuredly not the last. Probably engineered by more than one country to BENEFIT MORE THAN ONE COUNTRY. Probably a testing ground for several, secretive types of demolition-weaponry within the tower core. Mission: terrorize and confuse Americans while directing the US population's anger toward the Middle East.

Successful? You bet (thus far). To scapegoat an Islamic group, a group revealed and then reviled within hours and days. To target an ever-widening group to be attacked in the years to come. To contain or control all conflicting evidence. To contain or control all conflicting witnesses. To marginalize, or demonize, all skeptics and whistleblowers (Somewhat successful thus far, but growing less so until the internet can be marginalized). And to allow the corporate-owned, complicit US media free rein to keep a lid on doubts. After the critical first day, the US media has acted as a government bureau by spreading and cementing the official story.

911: A False Flag Exemplar.

The purpose of 911 was manifold. To spread fear. To distract the public about critical missing Pentagon trillions. To create a new power elite in as few hands as possible. To create a wider swath of powerful new "enemies," shadowy groups able to attack us here in America. To then create a powerful pretense to attack them and gain possession of their resources; and to destroy as much of the US Constitution as possible and thus cement more power.

3. The Bali Bombing. Meant to look like an Islamic attack. Purpose: to sow terror and cement hatred of Muslims by terror-striken Australians and get them on board the planned, upcoming, joint attack on Middle East countries. Also, as alleged by some observers, to test new weaponry, perhaps an innovative micro-nuke (see photograph) and to gauge their effects for use against future enemies--foreign or domestic--in future false flag events.

4. The Port Arthur Massacre. Meant to look like the work of a lone gunman in a tiny village but vastly too successful. Far too much expertise for the patsy, far too many suspicious anomalies to list. Purpose: to sow terror among peaceful, law-abiding but individualistic Australian gun owners and thus force restrictive laws allowing nationwide gun confiscation.

And the Port Arthur Massacre worked perfectly. The clueless Aussie media, headed by future Fox mogul, Rupert Murdoch, served almost as a propaganda ministry for the brand new John Howard administration, and brushed all doubts and conflicting evidence away.

Where it remains hidden today, forever it seems. Reportedly, access to the Port Arthur case is forbidden to investigators for the next 30 years. No CSI for the Port Arthur cover up Aussies, meanwhile, remain virtually weaponless under "benevolent" Big Brother and John Howard.

5. London Bombing 7-7. Meant to scapegoat Islamic people, of course. (Are we seeing a pattern here?). Served to terrorize Londoners and allow draconian, new power measures while bolstering lagging support of the war in Iraq. Perhaps even served as a punitive strike, to punish Londoners for their lack of war support.

6. Lebanon-Israel Attack. The wily Israelis, to their credit and everlasting shame, borrowed a play from Hitler and the Nazis. Create a false flag incident at the border and retaliate in the confusion. The Nazis started a war with the weaker country of Poland in 1939. The Israelis attempted to do the same.

By accusing neighboring Lebanon of capturing two IDF soldiers, Israel claimed a pretext for war. They attacked and invaded Lebanon and the war went badly for the Israelis and Olmert. Thousands of deaths and dismemberments on both sides and the false flag backfired.

ALL TERROR EVENTS, most importantly, allow beleaguered, often inept leaders (Blair, Bush, Olmert, Howard) to go before the public and pretend to be strong, pretend to be "leaderly," to the terrorized masses. Allegedly under attack, victimized by their own propagandized news organizations, the people seek the solace and protection of their fearless leader, and their government, and embrace them both readily. Helped along by continual doses of hysterical propaganda from the media.

IT IS ALL AN ACT, however, scripted from the very beginning, from the first explosion to the close up on the fearless leader by the TV news camera, focusing on the resolute expression with the flags or the national seal in the background.

Whatever weakness the bumbling leader displayed in the weeks, months or years beforehand, can be brushed aside with a few, well-prepared, scripted speeches. Weakness and incompetence can even be overturned, trumped even, by ordering restrictive (fascistic) new measures. See V for Vendetta, as an excellent film example of this fascistic, false leadership.

False flag events, most importantly of all, serve as a fake, hostile action by some sinister yet vague enemy, requiring some bold, new reaction by the protective government, naturally headed by the leader. Usually the actions--whether laws, restrictions, warnings or declarations (of war)--have already been pre-written. Another clue indicating an obvious false flag operation. One which screams, or should scream, a warning against approaching totalitarianism.

I am inclined to include the recent shooting at VA-Tech as a possible false flag operation. Same type of Manchurian Candidate, lone gunman as the one at Port Arthur. Same super skilled, remorseless gunman possessing killing power that baffles combat-trained specialists. VA Tech, like Port Arthur, appears to be a black operation for the exact same reasons. Oddly, both massacres occurred in late April, and lawmen either could not or would not intervene.

But sometimes what is intended to take freedoms away---Second Amendment Right to Bear Arms---can backfire if enough people see through it. If the US government hopes to use Cho as the poster boy for gun restrictions, and believe me they do, they had better restrict the Internet first.

Oh, wait--They are trying to do that. Another false flag event being prepared as I write this. perhaps some nuke blast to terrify the citizenry, since each event must surpass the former in scope and scale. Vigilance, vigilance, forever the price of liberty.

Douglas Herman contributes to Rense frequently.

False Flag Operations

A false flag operation is simply an action in which the perpetrator intends for the blame (or credit) to be placed on a different party. The term originally comes from the naval concept of flying another country’s flag to deceive and confuse other ships. Here we are concerned mostly with false flag terrorism—terror by states, organizations, and agencies which is meant to be pinned on others in order to influence policy, public opinion, or military aggression.

London 7/7London Metro Bombings 7/7/2005

The most recent major act of terrorism in the western world, the London train bombings were referred to by the English as “our September 11th.” As with 9/11, the official, public version of 7/7 is inadequate, oversimplified and most likely an orchestrated deception. Little known reports in the mainstream media and alternative, independent research have made a compelling case for 7/7 being a false flag operation.
