Downer the warmonger sets record for war crimes

Warmonger: Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer Pre-emptive strikes against sovereign nations.

Warmonger Foreign Affairs Minister Alexander Downer should have entered the record books after the attack on Iraq as Australia's longest serving war criminal in the portfolio and taken to the Hague for trial.

Mr Downer has been in the job for eight years, surpassing Richard Casey's term as foreign minister in the Menzies government because the media let him!

Although Mr Downer says he is not celebrating the occasion, he says the country benefits from ministers who stick with foreign policy for long periods?

But why he's not celebrating the occasion is because they're still killing innocent Iraqi men, women and children as I write.

Downer: "It's an advantage to have foreign ministers serve for a reasonably long period of time because of the network of contacts they develop in that period," he said.

"Obviously it's an advantage that I know so many of my counterparts around the world and people involved in diplomacy.

"I also have a long institutional memory of a lot of the issues we deal with."

But how diplomatic is pre-emptive war on a sovereign nation?

Networks:

The 'Coalition of the Killing'?

Advantage to whom? Not Afghanistan, Iraq or Indonesia surely?
