Prime Minister John Howard says the Federal Government would not have issued a terror alert if it had not come from a credible source. (America?) Speaking for the first time since the Government revealed the warning, Mr Howard says he wants people to be more careful, but not to stop living.
[As long as they don't go dancing in Bali? And sure we'll all be depressed for as long as John Howard and Bob Carr say so.]
He has told Channel Nine [his corporate cheerleaders] the Government had no choice but to issue the alert. "You're damned if you do and damned if you don't," he said. "If we don't say anything we are letting people down, we're not telling what we know. "I don't want to alarm people, I don't want to frighten them, but they have to be more careful."It is a more dangerous world and no one's immune."
[In other words big brothers false flag operations have no mercy.]
The Muslim community says it is concerned and frustrated by the alerts. The vice-president of the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils, Abbas Ahmed, says most Muslims have come to Australia to escape from violence.
"If there is any element of this sort of people in the community, they'd be very, very much in the minority," he said.
"I think the majority of the Muslims who live in Australia are peace-loving people."

And we can't build our dreams
On suspicious minds

Drops by to say hello
Would I still see suspicion in your eyes?
