Carr backs Fed Govt's terror alert

New South Wales Premier Bob Carr has defended the Federal Government's decision to issue a warning to Australians about a possible terrorist attack in Australia.

[Warnings about fear-mongering and propaganda to bolster support and to quell dissent for the Coalition of the Killings illegal and degrading resource wars in the Middle East.]

It follows criticism from one of the country's leading [alleged] terrorist experts Clive Williams, who says the information was too generic and alarmist and should have been withheld.

Mr Carr has told New South Wales Parliament he backs the stand taken by the Federal Government in issuing the alert. "I support the Federal Government because in our sort of society people have a right to know," he said. "I believe our people have a right to know when the Commonwealth is in receipt about information about a possible terrorist attack."

[The federal government wouldn't tell you if there was a bomb under your arse.]
