ACADP condemns the actions of the person/s who sent a threatening letter to staff at the Indonesian Consulate in Perth.
According to police, the letter contained two bullets and threatend to kill staff if alleged Australian drug-trafficker Schapelle Corby, is not released from a Bali jail. The letter also tells Indonesians in Australia to get out.
The Corby trial has aroused strong emotions among most Australians. However, this is no excuse for any Australian to make this uncivilised and offensive demand.
It is not the Australian way.
Opposition to capital punishment can only be solved by diplomatic ways. Violence of any kind, shape or form, is completely unacceptable in this country.
To the person/s responsible for this despicable act --- Grow Up!
