Three wounded in fresh Jabaliya strikes

Three Palestinians have been wounded in another Israeli air strike on the Jabaliya refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip. The camp is the focus of a massive Israeli operation in Gaza that has killed more than 100 Palestinians in less than two weeks.

Among the injured were three members of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, an armed offshoot of Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat's Fatah movement.

The Israeli military said terrorists were the target of the attack."Our units in the area spotted terrorists trying to plant an explosive charge. The air force took action and fired in their direction," an Israeli military source said.

Earlier, hospital sources said one Palestinian was killed and three others wounded in a strike on a house in Jabaliya, while another man wounded in an air raid on the camp earlier this month has died of his injuries.
